Introduction

Chinar is the official multilingual college magazine of Government Degree College (GDC) Bijbehara, serving as a platform for students, faculty, and researchers to showcase their academic, literary, and creative works. The magazine aims to promote intellectual engagement by encouraging submissions in multiple languages, thereby reflecting the linguistic and cultural diversity of the institution.

Scope and Objectives

The primary objective of Chinar is to provide an avenue for scholarly discourse, literary expression, and artistic creativity. The magazine accepts a wide range of contributions, including research papers, essays, poetry, short stories, book reviews, and opinion pieces. The multilingual nature of Chinar allows submissions in English, Urdu, Kashmiri, and Hindi, among other languages, fostering inclusivity and cultural representation.

Call for Papers

Chinar invites submissions from students, faculty members, and external scholars on diverse themes related to literature, science, social issues, history, and contemporary debates.
